Some believe that post modernism was a response to modernism and then consider them as two aspects of the same them as two aspects of the same movement. The difference highlights the difference in the approaches towards life.

             Modernism is essentially based on a utopian vision of human life and society and a belief progress or moving forward. It refers to a global movement in society and culture that from the early decades of the 29^th century sought a new alignment with the experience and valves of modern industrial life. Modernism was characterized by a dramatic change of taught, where by human intellect sought to improve their environment. There was a trend of improving every aspect of life by involving science and technology into it.

            Post modernism is a broad movement that developed in the mid to late 20th century  across philosophy the arts, architecture, criticism, making departure from modernism. The term generally applied to describe a historical era. In fact, post modernism is typically defined by an attitude of scepticism, irony or rejection towards ideologies and various tenets. More over this movement is associated with schools of thought such as deconstruction and post  structuralism .
